The Detroit Pistons are looking to trade Derrick Rose, with the New York Knicks and the Los Angeles Clippers being among the teams interested in the former MVP.

According to Ian Begley of SNY, Frank Ntilikina is among the players discussed in a potential deal between the Knicks and the Pistons.

Ntilikina, who in the final year of his rookie deal, is mostly out of Tom Thibodeau’s regular rotation this season. The Knicks could absorb Rose’s deal with their cap space, however they need to create a roster spot to add the veteran guard.

It was reported that Detroit and Rose have agreed that a trade is best solution for both sides, as the Pistons are on a rebuilding state.

In that case, the Knicks could ask for draft compensation with Begley reporting that it is unlikely to sacrifice a first-round pick for an expiring deal.

The former All-Star is expected to be a unrestricted free agent this summer.
