Maccabi Tel-Aviv and Panathinaikos earned much-needed victories in EuroLeague Round 12.

Maccabi put an end to a three-game losing streak, after defeating Crvena Zvezda at home (81-76).

The hosts built a 13-point lead early in the third quarter (52-39), but the Serbians turned things around and went on a 12-27 run to take the lead (64-66).

The Israelis, though, stood tall and sealed the deal, with Elijah Bryant exploding in the final minutes of the game (14 points).

Both teams now have identical records (4-8).

In Milano, Panathinaikos came back from a 15-point deficit and survived a late thriller over Armani (77-80).

The “Greens” were down by 12 at halftime (42-30), but went on an impressive 20-32 run to tie the game (62-62). It was a hard-fought battle after that, with the Italians missing crucial shots in crunch time and letting Panathinaikos claim a big road win.

Panathinaikos improved to 4-7, whereas Armani dropped to 6-4.
