Real Madrid and Fenerbahce claimed big victories in Round 7 and extending their winning streaks in the EuroLeague.

The “Whites” came back from an 11-point deficit in the third quarter (66-55) and defeated Zalgiris Kaunas on the road (90-93).

Walter Tavares posted a monster double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds, while Facundo Campazzo added 19 points and 10 assists. Five players scored in double figures for the Lithuanians, with Thomas Walkup having a team-high 18 points.

Real earned its second straight victory and now is at 3-4, whereas Zalgiris dropped to 4-3.

In Istanbul, Fenerbahce claimed its second straight win after rallying past Khimki (83-71). The Turks led from start to finish and claimed the victory, despite the Russians’ multiple attempts to turn things around.

DyShawn Pierre and Jarell Eddie led the winners with 16 points apiece. Jordan Mickey had a game-high 19 points for the losing squad.

Fenerbahce improved to 4-3, whereas Khimki dropped to 1-6.

In a hard-fought battle at La Fonteta, Valencia edged Armani Milano (86-81) and remained close to the top of the standings.

The Spaniards led by nine early in the second quarter (32-23), but the Italians tied the game late in the fourth quarter (76-76). The hosts, though, closed the game on a 10-5 run and sealed the deal.

Sam Van Rossom led the winners with 21 points, whereas Shavon Shield had 17 points for the losing squad.

Valencia now has a 4-2 record, whereas Armani dropped to 3-2.

In Athens, CSKA Moscow endured the comeback of Panathinaikos and defeated the “Greens” 83-89, while Bayern Munich conceded just 59 points and dominated Crvena Zvezda at home (74-59).
