The Philadelphia 76ers are not currently interested in sending Ben Simmons to the Houston Rockets in exchange for James Harden.

Harden wants to leave Houston and has named the Sixers and the Brooklyn Nets as his preferred destinations.

However, it seems Philadelphia has no plans to let Simmons leave in order to land Harden.

“Philly is currently NOT inclined to include Ben Simmons in trade talks for James Harden,” Shams Charania of The Athletic said during his appearance on NBA Gametime, via Hoop Central.

Harden has three years and $133M left on his current contract with the Rockets.

Meanwhile, Simmons is now entering the first season of his new, five-year deal with the Sixers, worth $177M.
