The Philadelphia 76ers are committed to Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid according to president of basketball operations Daryl Morey, however recent reports suggest otherwise.
According to Shams Charania of the Athletic, the Sixers have made Ben Simmons available in some packages for James Harden in trade talks with the Houston Rockets.
Harden, who put up 20 points, nine assists and seven rebounds in the Rockets’ win against the Spurs, wants out of Houston.
The 2018 MVP preferred destination are Philadelphia and Brooklyn, but the Rockets are gradually expanding trade talks beyond the Nets and the Sixers.
After Shams Charania reported the news that Philadelphia has made available Ben Simmons, Daryl Morey went on to make a statement and deny the rumors.
