Andre Drummond has decided to pick up his player option and remain with the Cleveland Cavaliers for the 2020/21 season.
Drummond was not so interested in becoming a free agent, so he decided to exercise his player option, worth $28.7M.
The big man of Cleveland averaged 17.5 points, 11.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.4 blocks last season.
Drummond is expected to be the starting center of the Cavaliers next season, as the team will try to return to the postseason after many years.
