CSKA Moscow president Andrey Vatutin believes the EuroLeague could resume the season in June and early July.

Such a scenario will require an intense schedule with many games taking place in a short period of time.

“Almost all European teams have been disbanded because of the coronavirus pandemic. It will take time to restore air connections between countries, players returning to the clubs’ locations, a short training camp.

With an optimistic development of events, you can try to play all the games in June and early July while tightening the schedule. Moreover, most of the national leagues have already announced the completion of competitions,” Vatutin told Izvestia.
