CJ McCollum was critical of the NBA owners, who paid their employees only after the players did.

In an interview with David Aldridge of The Athletic, the superstar of the Portland Trail Blazers said fans can learn a lot about an NBA owner based on how they handled the coronavirus suspension.

“Looking at some of the owners who haven’t come out of pocket, or volunteered to come out of pocket until the players have, it kind of shows you what they’re about.

With all due respect, you’re a multi-billionaire. I never count other people’s money, but you should be in a position to either speak on it, to where you just come out and say, ‘I’m not going to do that. I don’t want to. I don’t want to pay for my employees.’

Not saying anything is saying something, in my mind. If you don’t feel that way, you should speak on it,” McCollum told Aldridge.
