Philadelphia 76ers superstar Ben Simmons will remain out of action for another three weeks, due to his back injury.
Simmons is progressing with his rehab in the lower back nerve impingement and his condition will be re-evaluated in three weeks. Therefore, his return to action will happen close to the start of the playoffs (April 2018).
Simmons has been out of action since late February. In 54 games with the Sixers this season, Simmons has been averaging 16.7 points, 8.2 assists, 7.8 rebounds and a career-high 2.1 steals.
Philadelphia is sixth in the East with a 38-26 record.
