Promitheas was in front of from the start ( 8-10) with Ellis and Mayer mainly. AEK had an 0/8 3pointers and this was a serious problem for the team, which coached by Luca Banchi. The visitors was in the lead in the end of the first quarter by 4 points ( 14-18). Although Larentzakis tried to equalize the match for AEK ( 24-24) , but Promitheas remained as leader at halftime ( 34-39). Aek had an 6-0 in a row in the start of the third quarter, but Promitheas answered with Parks and Lypovy mainly ( 43-49). Brown and Hall was the main factor why Promitheas kept the lead in the end of the third quarter ( 49-59).  The hosts had determination in the fourth quarter and AEK had an 7-0 in a row in the fourth quarter ( 56-59). Although AEK with Hunter decreased the score ( 66-68), but Promitheas kept the leading ( 68-73).  Sakota 3pointer equalized the match ( 76-76) and the teams needed extra time. Promitheas prevailed in over time, because Sant-Roos missed the last crucial shot for AEK ( 84-85). For the first time ever, Promitheas advance to Greek Basketleague finals.
