Per Marcus Thompson of The Athletic, the Golden State Warriors may be interested in signing Giannis Antetokounmpo in 2021.
Although such a scenario is difficult to happen, there are certain things that need to be done, if the Warriors want to chase the “Greek Freak” in 2021.
For instance, Kevin Durant has to leave this summer and Draymond Green’s extension either has to end following the 2021 season, or he will have to have one year left in his contract.
At the same time, Antetokounmpo should have not won any titles with the Milwaukee Bucks and also be interested in joining the Warriors.
With that in mind, there is a number of variables that need to play out perfectly for the defending champions, if they want to chase this opportunity.
