Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo praised Jevon Carter for his outstanding defense on Steph Curry during Tuesday’s 128-111 home win vs. the Golden State Warriors.

(via Bally Sports Wisconsin):

“He was amazing. He didn’t pick up Steph below half court, which is insane, you can go watch the tape, every time he picked him up it was either full court or minimum half court. So he kinda sets the tone to whoever he’s playing that, ‘Tonight, you gotta work.’ Obviously Steph is one of the best players in the game right now, probably one of the best to ever play the game. But at the end of the day, there’s nobody that wants the work to be hard. And when you’re in that position, when you step on the floor and play different teams, they’re gonna be ready for you, they’re gonna be ready to make your job as hard as possible. And Jevon did that tonight. He picked him up full court, got into him, went over in every pick & roll, showed his hands, contested every shot, made him dribble a couple times before he called the play, just made it tougher for him. That’s what he does well, and he did it extremely well tonight.”
