Maccabi Tel-Aviv took to Twitter and addressed the rumours regarding the contract of head coach Giannis Sfairopoulos.
The club stated that the Greek coach has a guaranteed contract with the Israelis until the end of the 2019/20 season and no options are included in it.
Coach Sfairopoulos has helped Maccabi maintain a play-off push, as the team is on a four-game winning streak and has boosted its play-off hopes (9-11).
