Maccabi Tel-Aviv head coach Giannis Sfairopoulos referred to the chaotic situation in Greece between Olympiacos and Panathinaikos.
Here is what the Greek coach told Roi Cohen of Sport5:
“The only thing I can answer is that the owners of Olympiacos know what they are doing. Believe me, it’s a decision that came after a deep thought.
Yes, I support it. Look, they have to change the status in Greek basketball, it’s not just between Panathinaikos and Olympiakos, it’s about all the status in Greek basketball. Something more needs to be done, and more than that, I can’t say.”
