Maccabi Tel-Aviv head coach Giannis Sfairopoulos shared his thoughts on the team’s success this season.

“We work really hard in one direction. Everybody knows what to do on the court. All the players understood that they have a big part and a big role in a team. A team is like a big machine with small parts. If you take out one small part, the machine won’t work.

Hopefully we will continue this good season. We miss basketball. I like the pressure. I put pressure on myself. Pressure in a good way, a pressure that makes you work harder,” the Greek coach told Aris Barkas of Eurohoops.net.

Prior to the EuroLeague suspension, Maccabi had secured its place in the postseason, being fifth with a 19-9 record.
