Bayern Munich stood tall against Zalgiris Kaunas and beat the Lithuanians at home (88-84).

Derrick Williams was unstoppable for the winners, with a career-high 27 points (on 10/15 shooting) and seven rebounds. Stefan Jovic, Vladimir Lucic and Nihad Dedovic added 11 points apiece.

Brandon Davies had 21 points and six boards for the losing squad, as Leo Westermann posted 19.

The Germans made a better start to the game and earned a double-digit lead in the first half (32-21, 35-23, 45-35).

The visitors turned things around, though, and tied the the contest (63-63). Since then, it was a close game for both teams. But, the hosts made some big shots and secured the win.

Bayern Munich won for the sixth time this season (6-6), whereas Zalgiris Kaunas suffered its seventh loss (5-7).
