Olympiacos decimated ASVEL Villeurbanne at home (89-54) and maintained its perfect record at Piece and Friendship Stadium.

The “Reds” were in control from start to finish, led by as many as 36 (79-43) and cruised to the victory. Olympiacos improved to 11-5 and is third in the standings.

Olympiacos have won all nine home games so far (9-0). On the contrary, ASVEL dropped to 7-9 and have won only once in their last nine games.

UNICS Kazan protected its home court and made another step towards securing a playoff spot. The Russians rallied past Zalgiris Kaunas (66-53), thanks to a strong fourth-quarter performance.

The hosts outscored the Lithuanians 24-11 in the last 10 minutes of the game and closed the double round week of the EuroLeague in a perfect way. UNICS is 9-2 in the last 11 games and climbed to 10-6. For their part, Zalgiris remained winless on the road and at the bottom of the table (3-13).

CSKA Moscow survived a late thriller over ALBA Berlin (90-93) and returned to the winning track. In a game that no team led by more than eight points, the Muscovites stood tall in crunch time to take a crucial road win.

The visitors scored 24 points in the fourth quarter to turn things around and edge the Germans, who had the chance to force an overtime. However, both Oscar Da Silva and Marcus Eriksson missed game-tying three-pointers in the final seconds and the Russians sealed the deal.

CSKA bounced back from its heavy loss to UNICS Kazan on Wednesday and now is at 10-6. On the contrary, ALBA fell to 5-11 and has now lost three straight.

Jordan Loyd was unstoppable in the fourth quarter and helped Zenit Saint Petersburg clinch a big road win over Monaco (74-85). Loyd scored 14 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter and fueled an 0-11 run that sealed the deal for the Russians.

Prior to that, Monaco came back from a 17-point deficit in the first quarter (14-31) and took the lead after 30 minutes (57-56). Yet, the visitors outscored Monaco 17-29 in the last quarter to seal the deal.

Zenit improved to 10-6 and forced a four-team tie in the fourth place. On the contrary, Monaco dropped to 6-10 and have won only once in the last seven games.

Crvena Zvezda relied on its defense in the final 10 minutes to edge Bayern Munich at home (81-78). The Serbians conceded just 11 points in the fourth quarter and stand tall vs the Bavarians.

Both teams have identical records (7-9) and are one win away from the final playoff spot in the EuroLeague.
