Real Madrid big man, Trey Thompkins, spoke with TalkBasket.net regarding the loss to Olympiacos and the derby against Barcelona (25/11).
Here is what the American power forward/center said:
On what went wrong against the “Reds”: “We didn’t play hard in the first half, especially defensively. We had to play better in the first half and took control of the game.
We have played well so far, but tonight we didn’t do our job for 40 minutes and we lost.”
On his individual performance, as he had recently recovered from an injury: “I feel well physically, I got to be better for my team, tonight I just didn’t make shots and I got to be better.”
On the match against Barcelona: “It’s another fight. It is always a fight when we play against Barcelona.”
