Thanks to an excellent offensive performance, Barcelona defeated Olimpia Milano at home (90-80) and remained close to the top.

Although the Italians were competitive in the first quarter (24-25), the Catalans exploded and outscored their opponents 50-29 in the second and third quarter to take a 20-point lead (74-54).

The visitors couldn’t turn things around and, consequently, they were defeated.

Thomas Heurtel (20 points), Kyle Kuric (15 points) and Ante Tomic (12 points) led the way for the winners.

On the other hand, Mike James (19 points, 10 assists) and Jeff Brooks (17 points) were the best players of the losing squad.

Both teams now have identical records (6-3).
