Rick Carlisle: “Luka Doncic is either the 3 or 4”

Dallas Mavericks head coach, Rick Carlisle, confirmed that Luka Doncic will play as small and power forward this season.

Per Dwain Price, Luka Doncic will be the team’s small and power forward, with Wesley Matthews being the starting shooting guard.

The 2018 EuroLeague and ACB MVP made his pre-season debut with the Mavs on Saturday, scoring 16 points.

Carlisle on that DSJ/Luka backcourt. "I don’t see Luka and Dennis as our backcourt, but they’re playing together and playing well together. (Wesley) Matthews is really the 2. Luka is either the 3 or the 4 depending on how you want to look at the numbers." @dallasmavs #Mavs
