A 23-year-old power forward for the Los Angeles Lakers Kyle Kuzma during this summer spent a lot of time at the gym building his muscles and this is one of the reasons why the Lakers coach Luke Walton will try Kuzma as the center during team’s training camp.

After acquiring LeBron James the Lakers are trying various lineups and one of them using 6-foot-9 Kyle Kuzma at the 5. Speaking about this pretty new position at which the last time he played unless in high school, Kuzma said: “It’s going well, you know, picking it up…I have never really played the five before. And I think it will be good for us, having a small-ball unit, getting out and running and gunning”.

During this midseason the Lakers got several bigs: JaVale McGee from the Golden State Warriors and drafted Moritz Wagner. Last season Kyle Kuzma was averaging 16.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game while shooting 36.6 percent from the 3-point range.
