Zalgiris will be flying in comfort next season after the Lithuanian giants reached an agreement with Avia Solutions Group to have their own charter plane.

It makes perfect sense as well given that there are few direct connections to EuroLeague cities from Kaunas as Lithuania does not have an international airport.

Zalgiris used to be among many EuroLeague teams that needed connecting flights to get to their intended destination. But the introduction of their own team plane allows them to fly direct next season.

Zalgiris joins CSKA Moscow and Fenerbahce as the only teams with private planes.
