Istanbul Fenerbahce is going to fight for best place in Euroleague regular season without one of their leaders. Kostas Sloukas, 27, is going to miss 4-6 weeks due to knee meniscus injury. Guard suffered from a lot of injuries last season and could not play the full season because of it.
Sloukas is averaging 10,2 points, 4,5 assists and 1,8 rebound per 26 minutes. Greek is 14th in assists this season in Euroleague. Sloukas is also third in his team scoring and best three point shooter with 50% in seven times Turkey league champions.
Fenerbahce is in the fourth place in Euroleague with 15 wins and 8 loses. On Thursday Turkey champions is going to face Kaunas Zalgiris which have won four of their last five games. In first meeting Sloukas lead his team to victory 82:66 with 11 assists.
