Ex-NBA player Brandon Roy became coach of the year and won Naismith award. Award is given to best USA high-school head coach. Seattle Nathan Hale led by Roy won all 29 games and did not face any defeats in a season.
Roy in his roster had the best player of the year, Michael Porter also won Naismith award. Roy joined team this summer and started on the right foot.
32-year-old Roy spent six years in NBA averaging 18,8 points, 4,3 rebounds and 4,7 assists a game. He also played three times in All-Star game but had to retire due to knee problems.
