The New York Knicks are adding another experienced option to their roster ahead of the new season, reaching an agreement with free agent forward John Konchar.

The player has agreed to a one-year contract with New York, according to his agent, George S. Langberg of GSL Sports Group, who confirmed the move to ESPN.

Konchar split the 2025-26 season between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Jazz, appearing in 56 games and starting eight.

He averaged 4.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.5 steals in 19.9 minutes per game while shooting 47.2% from the field.
