Milwaukee Bucks guard Kevin Porter Jr. underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Tuesday and will miss the rest of the season, the team announced.
A recovery timeline has not yet been set.
Porter Jr. last played on March 17, when he had 25 points and 10 assists against Cleveland. Injuries limited him to 38 games this season despite strong production when available.
This was his second knee procedure of the year.
After spraining his left ankle early in the season, he later suffered a torn meniscus in his right knee that required surgery and sidelined him for several weeks.
He also missed time in March due to swelling in that knee.
He averaged 17.4 points and a career-high 7.4 assists, along with 5.2 rebounds and 2.2 steals.
Porter Jr. signed a two-year deal with Milwaukee last summer that includes a player option for next season, and his injury could impact that upcoming decision.
