During the Mavericks’ win over the Clippers, rookie forward Cooper Flagg delivered a historic performance by pouring in 35 points.

With that outing, Flagg joined LeBron James as the only players in NBA history to score at least 30 points in a game before turning 19.

Flagg’s performance also set another record: he is now the youngest player ever to reach 35 points in a single NBA game.

That milestone came shortly after another impressive achievement on Friday, when he became the first 18-year-old in league history to record 11 assists in one contest.

Across his rookie campaign so far, Flagg has been a steady and impactful contributor for Dallas.

Through 20 appearances – having missed only one of the Mavericks’ 21 games – he is averaging 16.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.4 steals per game.
