Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard had a very straightforward answer when asked where the team’s championship habits are lacking after Saturday’s 114-110 home loss vs. the Dallas Mavericks (5-15 record/4-game losing streak/2-13 in last 15 games).

“We gotta worry about winning the game right now first before we think about any type of championship. We all gotta come in collectively. It’s the same blueprint for every game. I sound like a broken record, but it’s getting back in transition. And then from there, knowing what we’re doing on the defensive end, getting a stop, getting a rebound, and coming back with pace and execute on the offensive end.”
