The Oklahoma City Thunder have stormed out to an NBA-best 19-1 record, establishing themselves as the league’s early powerhouse.
What makes their start even more intimidating for the rest of the league is the fact that they still haven’t played a single game with their full roster available.
Jalen Williams only just returned to action this week, yet the team will once again be shorthanded with center Isaiah Hartenstein set to miss time.
Hartenstein is expected to be out for at least 10–14 days after being diagnosed with a right soleus strain.
His absence extends the Thunder’s streak of never having their complete rotation on the floor this season.
With Hartenstein sidelined, Oklahoma City will shift Chet Holmgren into the full-time center role.
For additional frontcourt support, the Thunder will rely on Jaylin Williams, Kenrich Williams, and two-way big man Branden Carlson until Hartenstein is able to return.
