NBA veteran Marcus Morris Sr. has been arrested in Florida on a fraud charge, TMZ has learned.

According to Broward County records, the 13-year pro was taken into custody on Sunday. Authorities also released his mug shot, showing a serious, expressionless Morris.

Morris, a former University of Kansas standout, was the 14th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets.

He spent two seasons there before playing for several teams, including the Suns, Pistons, Celtics, Knicks, Clippers, Cavaliers, and 76ers.

He last played during the 2023-2024 season, splitting time between Cleveland and Philadelphia. Over 832 career games, he’s averaged 12 points and 4.4 rebounds.

This isn’t Morris’s first legal issue – he previously entered a diversion program after a 2012 battery charge and was acquitted in a 2015 assault case.

Authorities have yet to release further details about the current charge.
