NBA veteran Marcus Morris was arrested at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport last month in a dramatic scene where officers not only handcuffed him but also shackled his ankles.

Body camera footage obtained by TMZ Sports shows Broward County deputies approaching Morris and his family on July 27 before informing him of an outstanding warrant. After cuffing his wrists, they placed him in a wheelchair and restrained his ankles as well, calling it a “new policy.”

Police then told his twin brother, Markieff, that Morris would be taken to Broward County Jail without bond. He was booked on a fraud charge tied to allegations that he had taken more than $250,000 from two Las Vegas casinos.

Morris spent two days in jail before the case was dismissed, saying he had already paid off his debts. Afterward, he called the experience “awful” and said he wished it had been handled differently.
