Since leaving the NBA in 2024, Gabriel has gained valuable international experience, including a significant role with Maccabi Tel Aviv and emerging as one of the standout players for South Sudan’s Olympic basketball team.
Speaking about his new chapter, Gabriel shared his excitement and commitment, saying, “I want to bring my passion, energy, and hustle to Bayern Munich.”
He also laid out his clear goals for the season ahead: “My aims are to help the team make the playoffs and push all the way to the Final Four.”
Gabriel played 5 NBA seasons for 7 teams, including the Lakers and Grizzlies. He averaged 4.4 points and 3.4 rebounds in 150 regular-season games.
