Raptors forward Brandon Ingram recently experienced some ongoing discomfort in his injured left ankle, which ultimately resulted in him receiving a PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) injection last week, according to Josh Lewenberg of TSN.

Ingram explained that he had been dealing with some “aggravation” in the ankle, which led to the decision to undergo the procedure.

However, the player also expressed optimism, stating that “things are trending in the right way” regarding his recovery.

Acquired by the Raptors from the New Orleans Pelicans at the trade deadline, Ingram’s much-anticipated debut with Toronto will have to wait until next season.

His last appearance on the court came on December 7, when he suffered the injury during a game against Oklahoma City.

While it’s disappointing for the team and Ingram, his focus is now on regaining full health and preparing for a fresh start in the upcoming season.
