The Toronto Raptors announced that forward Brandon Ingram had surgery on Friday to address a heel spur in his right foot.

The operation was carried out by Dr. Martin O’Malley at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.

According to the organization, Ingram is projected to fully recover from the procedure and should be ready to participate when training camp begins in September.

The 27-year-old earned his second NBA All-Star selection last season after putting together another strong campaign.

He paced the Raptors offensively by averaging 21.5 points per game, while also contributing 5.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 77 games as a starter.

Ingram also committed his future to Toronto recently, agreeing to a three-year contract extension worth $120 million during the previous offseason.
