The Philadelphia 76ers’ season, already plagued by injuries, continues to be disrupted by key player absences.
Head coach Nick Nurse provided an update on the team’s health, stating that veteran wing Paul George will remain sidelined for at least two more games as he recovers from a groin injury.
George has already been managing a hand issue, making his availability a growing concern for the team.
Adding to the Sixers’ injury woes, rising star Tyrese Maxey is also unlikely to suit up for Sunday’s matchup against the Utah Jazz.
Maxey has been dealing with back soreness after taking a hard fall in last Monday’s game, and the team is being cautious with his recovery.
With multiple key contributors out, the Sixers will need to adjust their lineup and rotation as they navigate this challenging stretch of the season.
