Spanish basketball club Unicaja Malaga has officially announced the signing of former NBA forward Kevin Knox, who was selected ninth overall in the 2018 NBA Draft.
The club confirmed the agreement through its social media channels, adding another player with NBA experience to its roster.
Knox began his professional career with the New York Knicks, who selected him in the first round of the 2018 draft following his college career at Kentucky.
The 27-year-old forward spent four seasons with New York and enjoyed his most productive campaign as a rookie, averaging approximately 13 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.
However, Knox struggled to establish a consistent role in the NBA after his promising first season.
Following his departure from the Knicks, he played for several organizations, including the Atlanta Hawks, Detroit Pistons, Portland Trail Blazers, and Golden State Warriors.
More recently, Knox continued his career in the NBA G League, where he represented the Windy City Bulls before joining the Osceola Magic.
