The Toronto Raptors have finalized a trade to acquire forward Brandon Ingram from the New Orleans Pelicans. In return, the Raptors are sending Bruce Brown Jr., Kelly Olynyk, a first-round pick in 2026 (via the Indiana Pacers), and a second-round pick to the Pelicans.

Ingram is currently on a $36 million expiring contract with New Orleans, as the two sides were unable to reach an agreement on an extension. Earlier in the season, Ingram made the decision to leave Excel Sports and sign with Klutch Sports.

This season, Ingram has played in 18 games, posting averages of 22.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.2 assists in 33.1 minutes per game. He is shooting a career-high 37.4 percent from beyond the arc, taking 6.4 three-point attempts per game.
