Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic has revealed his four greatest players in NBA history, selecting Bill Russell, Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain and Stephen Curry.

The three-time NBA MVP shared his choices during an interview with SPORTbible, explaining what made each player deserving of a place on his list.

Jokic pointed to Russell’s championship success, Jordan’s influence on basketball, Chamberlain’s remarkable statistics and Curry’s impact on the modern game.

“Probably Bill Russell because of the championship,” Jokic said.

“Michael Jordan because he changed the game,” he continued. “Probably Wilt Chamberlain because of all the numbers and all the crazy stats. And I’m going to put Steph Curry because he changed the game and he’s kind of my generation.

“I played against the guy, so he kind of changed the game,” Jokic added about Curry. “So those are the four.”

Curry was the only player from Jokic’s generation to make the list, with the Serbian center emphasizing the Golden State Warriors star’s influence on the NBA.
