The San Antonio Spurs have signed free agent forward Terry Taylor to a non-guaranteed training camp contract, according to Paul Garcia of The Spot Up Shot.
The signing brings San Antonio’s preseason roster back to the maximum of 21 players after the team waived former North Carolina guard RJ Davis on Tuesday.
Taylor, 27, has played four NBA seasons, appearing in 98 regular-season games for the Indiana Pacers, Chicago Bulls and Sacramento Kings between 2022 and 2025.
The 6-foot-5 forward has career averages of 4.6 points and 2.6 rebounds in 12.0 minutes per game.
His most recent NBA stint came during the second half of the 2024-25 season, when he signed a 10-day contract with Sacramento.
Taylor spent most of last season playing for the Brisbane Bullets in Australia’s National Basketball League before returning to the United States and joining the Iowa Wolves for the remainder of the G League campaign.
He also represented Team USA during the first of two FIBA World Cup qualifying windows in the 2026 offseason.

Although Taylor has signed with the Spurs, he is expected to begin the regular season with their G League affiliate, the Austin Spurs.
Austin acquired his returning player rights from Iowa in August as part of a six-team trade involving several G League organizations.
Taylor could be waived before the NBA regular season begins and subsequently join Austin.
If his training camp agreement includes Exhibit 10 provisions, he would be eligible for a bonus worth up to $91,000 in addition to his G League salary, provided he spends at least 60 days with the team.
