On a recent episode of Ticket and The Truth, former NBA stars Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce discussed whether Luka Doncic is in his prime.
Pierce was affirmative, saying that the Slovenian superstar entered the NBA while being in his prime and that he is in the middle of prime now.
“He hit the league in his prime,” Pierce said, pointing to Doncic’s impressive statistics and accolades since he made the jump to the NBA.
Garnett noted how Doncic seemingly with little effort is able to dominate the league.
“Luka is set up to be the only one n***a to catch [LeBron James], don’t nobody wanna say that sh*t,” Garnett added.
This season Doncic was the league’s top scorer with 33.9 points per game. He also averaged 9.2 rebounds and 9.8 assists in 37.5 minutes per game.
