Former NBA player Nick Young, who was part of the 2018 Golden State Warriors championship team, revealed how Steph Curry was disappointed with not winning the Finals MVP, which was give to teammate Kevin Durant.

As noted by Young, Curry was having a good series, but one bad game ruined his chances of winning the prestigious award.

“I remember they was neck and neck… Steph had one bad game, KD was hitting, locker room Steph’s head was down, damn near in tears after a win,” Young said on Gil’s Arena.

Curry did win the Finals MVP eventually in 2022 after leading the Warriors to a championship over the Bostons Celtics.
