New Orleans Pelicans head coach Willie Green expressed admiration for the remarkable growth and maturity displayed by the team’s str, Zion Williamson, throughout the current NBA season.

Despite facing challenges with injuries in his earlier years in the league, the 23-year-old power forward has notably improved his availability, featuring in the majority of games this season (48 of 59).

Green lauded Williamson’s evolution, emphasizing his commitment to honing his skills and his consistent presence on the court.

“He’s one of the best players in this league. He’s extremely talented. He’s putting the work in. I love that he’s matured before our eyes… His defensive effort is there… Having Z on the floor is a true blessing and luxury to have,” Green said, per Mike Scotto of HoopsHype.

Throughout the ongoing NBA campaign, Williamson is averaging 22.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game in 30.8 minutes of play.
