Amidst his visit to Australia, former NBA star Scottie Pippen reiterated his belief that his ex-teammate Michael Jordan stands as the greatest player in basketball history, despite their complicated relationship.

During an appearance on Today, Pippen expressed unequivocal praise for Jordan, emphasizing his unprecedented achievements and impact on the sport.

“Oh, for sure,” Pippen replied when asked if Jordan was the greatest player ever. “I mean, look at the MVPs that he was able to achieve. But I think it was all brought from us being successful as a team. Obviously, someone is going to bring those accolades home. But yeah, he was the greatest player definitely in basketball.”

Jordan, widely regarded as the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) in basketball, enjoyed a legendary career spanning over 15 seasons in the NBA.

Throughout his illustrious tenure, Jordan amassed an impressive array of accolades, including six NBA championships, five regular-season MVP awards, and 14 All-Star selections.

Renowned for his unparalleled scoring prowess, unmatched competitiveness, and clutch performances, Jordan revolutionized the game of basketball and transcended the sport’s boundaries.

His iconic moments, such as the “Flu Game” and “The Shot,” have become indelible parts of basketball lore, solidifying his legacy as an icon of the sport.

Beyond his individual achievements, Jordan’s leadership and ability to elevate his teammates were instrumental in guiding the Chicago Bulls to unparalleled success during the 1990s.
