The LA Clippers’ frontcourt is about to receive a boost with the imminent return of Mason Plumlee, who has been absent for nearly two months.

Plumlee is on track to make a comeback, possibly playing as early as Monday, having almost fully recovered from a sprained MCL in his left knee sustained during the Clippers’ loss to the New York Knicks on November 6.

In Plumlee’s 25-game absence, the Clippers brought in Daniel Theis, a veteran center who secured a buyout with the Indiana Pacers before joining the team.

Ty Lue, the Clippers’ coach, will now have additional depth with Plumlee and Theis supporting starting center Ivica Zubac.
