Toronto Raptors sophomore Collin Murray-Boyles recently spoke about what last season’s seven-game Eastern Conference First Round loss vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers did for his confidence (averaged 14.4 PPG/3.0 ORB/3.4 DRB/2.4 APG/1.9 TOV/1.3 SPG/1.1 BPG/2.3 PF/65.6% FG/77.3% FT in 27.3 MPG).

“It really just, I don’t know. That’s like the best basketball played at any level, so to be able to produce at such a level, I feel like that’s just an early indicator that I belong, that I could really make a difference in this league, not just on my team, but in the league in general. And then young people’s hearts, the way they see me play, how hard I play, how determined I am regardless of whatever field anybody wants to go in, they just see how hard I work and they can apply that type of dedication to their lives. So being able to kinda just, I don’t know, express myself. I’m not trying to be like anybody else. I’m trying to be myself. So for people to see that, it just helps them in day-to-day life and I can’t really be more thankful to have this opportunity to show myself and be that for other people.”
