Lakers guard Austin Reaves is riding a wave of success with his signature shoe line, AR1, as he revealed that his shoes have been flying off the shelves, quickly selling out since their release.

During the first day of Lakers’ Training Camp, Reaves expressed his satisfaction with the partnership between him and the Chinese sports apparel brand Rigorer, which launched his signature shoe line.

Reaves mentioned that the response to his shoes has been fantastic, with all released pairs selling out rapidly.

Reaves’ shoes made their mark not only in the United States but also internationally. During his time with Team USA at the FIBA World Cup in the Philippines, he capitalized on the opportunity to promote his shoes to enthusiastic Lakers fans in the region.

“It’s been great,” Reaves said. “We’ve had a really good partnership these last two years and look forward to keep it going. Shoes feel great.

“Obviously, in the Philippines they’re huge Lakers fans. So we were out there and we did an appearance, displayed the shoes and told the release dates. All the shoes that we’ve released so far sold out pretty quick.

“So everything’s going good. Feel good. I’m super happy about where we’re going with that.”
