The anticipation for the 2023-24 NBA season is building as it approaches its October 24th tip-off, and basketball enthusiasts have a thrilling new addition to their NBA experience – the ‘NBA Fantasy’ game.

This innovative salary cap-based fantasy game is now available, allowing fans to craft their ideal team of NBA superstars and vie for supremacy against friends and fellow fans worldwide.

With the opportunity to join up to 25 leagues, including both public and private options, ‘NBA Fantasy’ promises endless basketball excitement. What’s more, it’s accessible in nine languages, making it a global phenomenon.

To get started, fans must register or log in at NBA.com/FantasyGame. They’ll have the exciting task of constructing a 10-player dream team while adhering to a $100 million salary cap.

These teams will comprise five Front Court and five Back Court players, with the limitation of only two players from a single NBA team. Player salaries are dynamically determined by their real-world performance and star status.

The highest-valued players, each priced at $17.5 million, include 2023 NBA Champion and Finals MVP Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets), reigning league MVP Joel Embiid (Philadelphia 76ers), and four-time All-NBA First Team selection Luka Doncic (Dallas Mavericks).

Close behind is two-time league MVP and 2021 NBA Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks) at $17 million, followed by veteran luminaries LeBron James (L.A. Lakers), Kevin Durant (Phoenix Suns), and Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors), each valued at $16.5 million. The 2023 NBA Draft’s First Overall Pick, Victor Wembanyama (San Antonio Spurs), is available at $13.5 million.

Fans must select their starting five from the 10-player roster, carefully considering their bench players. In case a starter is unavailable for a game during the season, automatic substitutions from the bench will come into play.

Fans can enhance their rosters throughout the season by signing and waiving players, with two free transfers available each game week.

Fantasy points will be earned by players based on their real-life performance, with points awarded for rebounds, assists, blocks, steals, and points scored, and deductions for turnovers.

Fans also have the flexibility to select a captain, whose points will be doubled each game day, and they can change their captain daily. The league standings will be determined by the teams with players accumulating the highest fantasy point totals during the regular season.

Access ‘NBA Fantasy’ now at Nba.com/FantasyGame. The game will run throughout the entire 2023-24 NBA regular season, and it’s also accessible via the NBA App by clicking on the NBA Fantasy tile on the homepage.
