Neemias Queta is on the verge of finalizing a two-way contract with the Boston Celtics, according to Shams Charania.
The Sacramento Kings recently waived the Portuguese center, a move that followed their signing of JaVale McGee to a free agent deal.
Before his stint with the Kings, Queta had garnered interest from the Portland Trail Blazers and Partizan Belgrade, showcasing his potential as a sought-after talent.
In the 2022-23 season, Queta played in both the NBA and the G League, representing the Stockton Kings. His NBA appearances were limited as he averaged 2.4 points and 2.2 rebounds in just 5.8 minutes per game.
However, it was in the G League that he truly shone, boasting averages of 16.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists across 29 games.
