The wait is finally over for Vasilije Micic, as he officially makes the leap from EuroLeague to the NBA. The talented Serbian guard has signed a three-year contract with the Thunder.

According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the deal is worth $23.5 million and includes a team option for the third year, providing flexibility for the franchise.

Micic’s journey to the NBA has been a long one, as Oklahoma City had held his draft rights since 2020. However, it was only now that the 29-year-old decided to make the transition and join the Thunder.

The accomplished guard boasts an impressive list of accolades from his time in EuroLeague, including two-time EuroLeague champion (2021, 2022), two-time EuroLeague Final Four MVP (2021, 2022), EuroLeague MVP (2021), and Alphonso Ford EuroLeague Top Scorer Trophy winner (2022).
