Although the new Suns head coach Frank Vogel denied that the team is waiving Chris Paul, that does not mean that the veteran point guard will remain on the team next season.

According to NBA insider Shams Charania, Phoenix is actively talking to other teams about a potential trade that would move the 12-time NBA All-Star to another team.

“The Suns are actively engaged in trade conversations I’m told around the league about Chris Paul… They’re exploring multiple options with his future,” Charania said on FanDuel TV.

This past season, which was Paul’s third with the Suns, he averaged 13.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 8.9 assists in 32 minutes per game.
